This is the yellow coconut which bears fruit even when it is only four feet high. It grows to a maximum height of about six feet. His band consists of a violin, two hand drums and a gong. At times he also uses the accordion and also the flute in order to enhance his performance. He is now residing in Sabah, one of the states in Malaysia trying to train local musicians to follow his footsteps. He comes from a family of musicians and has made several recordings of Malaysian folk music. His style of playing is considered to be interpretative of Malaysian way of musicianship in which a song is never played the same way twice.」「ORCHID ABDULLAH[下線付]」「Orchid Abdullah is a radio star in folk songs.
