It is made of wood. Turks have carried their "bağlama"s with themselves while they emigrated to Anatolia from Uralo-Altaic steps. "Bağlama"s are constituted in the following parts：body (resonance box), arm (long fretted handle), metal strings, and tuning keys. According to their dimensions and sound ambitus, "bağlama"s are classified into three main groups：i- Jura (the smallest "soprano" size of the family), ii- Bağlama (the middle "alto" size), iii- Divan Saz (the biggest "bass" size).」「d) Percussions：DEF (Tambourine) - A circled wood frame and a piece of beast skin tensioned upon the frame.」との記述あり。
