曲目解説3枚目に「Another tune by Samsuddin Lamin is Serampang Laut, the verses of this tune are conveyed in one more popular tempos – the JOGET. There is a strong belief that the Portuguese who came to Historical Malacca in 1511 could be responsible for the incorporation of the Spanish rhythm in the joget. Couples performing the JOGET are not permitted to touch each other, this tradition has been preserved since the good olden court days. At the finale of the JOGET the music builds up to a climax known as the TERANCANG. The rhythm of the Terancang governs the choice of movement from graceful hand swaying to jumping and hoping. Vocal and instrumental versions are always given equal prominence, though at times the Terancang is not included in vocal versions. Here now is Samsuddin Lamin and the JOGET as heard in Serampang Laut.」「CUT: 3 SERAMPANG LAUT (JOGET) 3'27"[下線付]」(「男」の書き込みあり)、5枚目に「JOGET[下線付]」「Today, amongst the many styles of dancing that may be seen in Malaysia, none is as popular and well-known as the Joget.」「The Joget is believed to have originated from a Portuguese dance brought to the coast of West Peninsular Malaysia at the beginning of the colonialism in South East Asia.」「It is usually written in 2/4 time and is very lively in character. It has always been considered a purely social dance.」「While dancing, there is no physical contact between the couple taking part. The man leads, and tries his best to ensure that his partner follows his movements closely.」「The couple move in unison, keeping a distance of a yard or so, from each other, all the time. There are no special steps, but there is a considerable awareness of the lively rhythm of the music on the part of the dancers.」「In this dance, there is much opportunity for display of graceful individuality.」、7枚目に「SAMSUDDIN LAMIN, 40, discovered his singing talent when he was only 16 years old. He was then singing some Malaysia folk songs just to make his younger brother go to sleep.」「In 1957, he started singing on stage. Later in 1971 and 1972, he won a few titles of the "Bintang Radio" (Radio Star) singing competition.」「Today, he is popular for his originality, a gentle style and gentle voice.」「This year, we proudly introduce the "Yosuf Mohamad musical Group". It is one of the most popular groups in Malaysia. The group is named after the leader; Yusof Mohammad, one of the pioneers in the improvisation of Malay folk music.」「The instruments used are violin, guitar, accordion piano, gong, mandolin and "gendang".」と記載。
