曲目解説2~3枚目に「Malaysia is a country rich in oral tradition and as such folklore played an important part in development of social ideas of the past. To bring that idea back to our time, is Samsuddin Lamin and his rendition of Sri Sarawak, written in the Asli Tempo. ‘Asli’ or ‘Original’ is a tempo given to a very slow rhythm. You will hear the accent of the beat falls on the 1st and 3rd count. Normally, the performer must project one's ability to convey the rhythm element of composition based on the collective mood of the tune. As in songs of this nature, the theme is centred on feelings of sadness and disappointment. This song personifies Sri Sarawak of Sarawak River as a person moving aimlessly to a journey unknown with memories dented with disappointment.」「CUT: 2 SRI SARAWAK (ASLI) 3'[下線付]」(「[Sarawak Riverに]下線」「[CUT: 2に]丸印」「[SARAWAKに]河」「[(ASLI) に]丸印」「男ソロ」の書き込みあり)、7枚目に「SAMSUDDIN LAMIN, 40, discovered his singing talent when he was only 16 years old. He was then singing some Malaysia folk songs just to make his younger brother go to sleep.」「In 1957, he started singing on stage. Later in 1971 and 1972, he won a few titles of the "Bintang Radio" (Radio Star) singing competition.」「Today, he is popular for his originality, a gentle style and gentle voice.」「This year, we proudly introduce the "Yosuf Mohamad musical Group". It is one of the most popular groups in Malaysia. The group is named after the leader; Yusof Mohammad, one of the pioneers in the improvisation of Malay folk music.」「The instruments used are violin, guitar, accordion piano, gong, mandolin and "gendang".」と記載。
