曲目解説5枚目に「The most traditional type of small boat used in the west of Ireland is called a currach. This is a small rowing craft, a sort of canoe, made from a timber framework covered with canvas, which rides lightly on the waves just like a cork. It can be carried on the shoulders of two or three men. In older times these canoe-type boats were covered with animal hides. There is strong evidence to suggest that the old Irish monk, St. Brendan the Navigator, of the 6th. century, with a few companions, actually reached the coast of America in a larger version of this type of boat. Our next song from Ireland is a simple song with a chorus in praise of a currach and was recorded many years ago by one of our great Gaelic singers Máire Ní Scolaí.」「My little canoe looks lovely out there in the bay, / Hurrah for my little boat; / With the oars pulling her strongly but silently; / Hurrah for my little boat.」「It is so easy to steer my canoe westwards or eastwards; / Hurrah for my little boat, / You will not find a better boat between Aran and Clare Island; / Hurrah for my little boat.」「MÁIRE NÍ SCOLAÍ[下線付]」「ORÓ MO BHÁIDÍN」「(Hurrah for my little boat)」「2'56".」と記載(「女」「ピアノ伴奏」の書き込みあり)。
