(For instance river Ganges is popularly known as 'Mother Ganga' which nurtures the area in the northern region.) The coastal areas have their own charm because of the lilting waves and lyrical ripples of the waters of Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal which lash the western and Eastern Coast. Inspired by the charm of the rivers some enchanting songs are born all over the country which portray the emotional and cultural integration. The melodies are known as boatmen's Songs which are rendered with a gay abondon and delineate the feeling of thrill and adventure through the lilt and rhythm of the rivers. As regards the Sea, some particular songs are very popular which ease the mental tension of the fishermen confronting the high seas. We have selected songs from different regions of the country relating to Sea and River.]。[キーワード]:India(north)インド(北)、tablaタブラー(kettle drumsタイコ類1器型)、bayaバーヤーン(kettle drumsタイコ類1器型)、bansriバーンスリー(transverse flutesヨコブエ類)
