曲目解説p.2に「TRACK 2 POI SONG:」「NGA MAUNGA KORERO O PONEKE[下線付]」「THE TALKING HILLS OF WELLINGTON」「DURATION: 4'25"」「The use of the Poi[下線付] enhances the use of the dance form apparent in many of the songs of the Maori. The Poi[下線付] is a small ball, about the size of a tennis ball, made of rushes and hung on the end of a string. The performers make intricate patterns and beat out complex rhythms by tapping the swinging ball on hands, arms and body, at the same time accompanying the movements with a rhythmic chant or song.」「Here the Ngati Poneke group continue their welcome with a Poi[下線付] song. It's a song of identity and the words tell of the various important mountain ranges, hills, rivers and seas which are to be found within their tribal district.」と記載(「[2に]赤丸印」の書き込みあり)。曲解説「Track 2.
