- 曲目解説に「8.」「"The Fine Crystal[下線付]"」「Another song of great age is "The Fine Crystal", which was found in Denmark as early as the 17th century. In Sweden we know it from the 18th century, but the best known variant was found in Dalarna. It was spread in a rather watered-down from through the folk music evenings arranged in Stockholm in the spirit of national romanticism in the middle of the 19th century. The folk song was thus overshadowed, but it remained alive in a tiny village in Dalarna in a very old singing style. It was sung in this special way by a man who came from a family of singers. His name was Dansar Edvard Jonsson, and he had learned his songs from his mother and father. This little village in Dalarna where he was from is one of the few villages where you can find such an ancient musical language or dialect, as it is also called.」「And if you travelled to the end of the earth,/ my heart would call to you./ To you, my friend and beloved flower,/ think if we could get together,/ if you were mine and I were thine,/ oh, noble rose and gilded path,/ gilded rosy path.」と記載(「[8に]丸印」の書き込みあり)。
