注記2
注記2:曲目解説1枚目に「PROGRAMME NOTES[下線付]:」「Until the arrival of the European in the early 1800's the Maori had no written language; all his history and records were retained in various chants handed down by word of mouth from one generation to another. From their earliest days children learnt songs associated with their daily routine of survival. / Today, in a country now dominated by the European influence and where the native race is moving into an urban environment, many of the early traditions no longer apply. Yet throughout all heritage has survived, and in its song many of the forms are retained. / Probably the most celebrated form is the Haka; a posture dance accompanied by a shouting chant. It has its origins in the gestures of defiance and contempt hurled at the enemy on the eve of battle. Now the Haka is performed for ceremonial occasions only. It is complex in its body, feet and hand movements and expresses passion and vigor.」「TRACK 1. HAKA[下線付]」「Duration[下線付]: 1'30"」「This Haka performed by a group of schoolboys, says, "Look – we are the youth of the Maori race."」と記載(「子どものハカ[下線付]」の書き込みが曲目解説2枚目冒頭にある)。
