Osaka Saka Saka」「This also is an otedama (beanbag) playing song almost identical with "Miyoko-chan", which has just been explained.」「The singers in this recording are primary school children in Tannan-cho in Taki County, Hyogo Prefecture. Tannan-cho is a small mountain farming village, which borders on the western limits of Osaka City, Japan's greatest business center.」「The words of this song, which consist of the names of towns and the numbers to be counted chanted one after another, go something like this: "Osaka, Akasaka and Yotsuya. When I had run past Yotsuya, Akasaka and Koji-machi with lightning speed, the thong of my geta (wooden clog) broke. So I had to rest a while. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine and ten. When I turned back at ten, I could see the crystal water falling in a cascade from a spring in the Ochanomizu Valley." All the names mentioned in this song except Osaka are those places in Tokyo City.」「The children in Tannan-cho, which has long been a purely farming village, still play otedama today as they have few other means of amusement.」と記載。雑資料「JAPANESE NURSERY & CHILDREN'S SONGS」三十頁におてだまの絵図あり。
