He shared his leisure time and his work with others, isolation which seems to have given good ground for the growth of songs about these professions.」「Soldiers' songs cover a broad variety of songs, from songs for[下線付] soldiers, songs about[下線付] soldiers to songs used mostly by[下線付] soldiers. This last type wasn't necessarily about soldiers at all, but could be about subjects that especially interested them. Many such songs were used during the monotonous marching. The song became a stabilizing factor in the march, at the same time as the words of the song were a way to pass the time.」「Song 6[下線付]」「(background)」「A song that was used and sung for marching as early as the beginning of the 19th century.
