- 雑資料二枚目に、タイプで「6. Song: The Devil or The Farmer's Curst Wife」「2'21"」「Many folk songs in the past (in a man's world) have created their amusement by mockery of woman, especially of the negligent or scolding wife. This is a ballad of fairly ancient lineage, which describes how one such a wife was carried off to Hell by the Devil. Her fiery temper created such havoc there that the Devil declaring that "the likes of herself we will not have in Hell" hoisted her onto his back again, and returned her with all speed ("seven years going and nine days coming back") to her reluctant husband.」「The ballad, like many convivial fold songs has a rollicking nonsense refrain and ends with the mocking comment: "Now its told that the woman was worse than the men / When they gang down to Hell they get sent back again".」、手書きで「1B」「(男ソロ)」と記載。雑資料四枚目に、タイプで「6. Song: The Devil (or The Farmer's Curst Wife)」「2'21"」と記載。
