This song was recorded on the South coast of Gujarat, near Balsar. Sung in a typical style while washing and cleaning the sails of the boats, the fisher folk of Kosamba village find in it a sort of pleasure and a kind of relief to while away the exertion they get by doing hard work. The song is in crude Gujarati.
