- [解説文(1枚目と2枚目)に「SONG : I」「":PARBHATI:NIRGUN:"」「4'00"」「This song is drawn from the interior of the Malwa plateau, the fertile table-land of the state of Madhya Pradesh in central India. It is generally sung by the people belonging to the Nirgun cult, a school which believes in the existence of God both in living and static things. / The song is in praise of the rising Sun. The Sun purifies body and soul and it is the supreme deity who is all knowledgeable. The human being knows nothing in spite of his several efforts in pursuits of knowledge. It is the GURU, the teacher, who always makes him realise his self and the world around. / The folk-singers are the simple peasants from a Malwa village. The accompanying instruments are the CHOUTARA, a four stringed instrument, played by plucking and striking against the wires and a pair of brass cymbals. The dialect of the song is Malwi.」と記載。同資料に小泉教授の手書きによるメモ「5.宗」「日の出信仰」「[PARBHATIに]丸印[をし]女神」「guruとコーラス」「録音あまりよくない」「[Madhya Pradeshに]下線」「[rising sunに]下線」「[CHOUTARAに]丸印[をし]四弦」あり。]
