There are 3 Lao Deum Orchestras in Laos - the Royal Orchestra at Luang Prabang (Heard in Item 4), the Orchestra of Prince Boun Oum of Champassac (South Laos) and the Orchestra of the Lao National Radio in Vientiane. / The Lao Deum orchestra consists of Xylophones, gong series, flute (bamboo), Cymbals, drums, and another version of the two-string fiddle using a coconut shell as a resonator. / The orchestra of the Lao National Radio in Vientiane play an extract from one of the many items in their extensive repertoire.
