The language is on a notably more poetic level than in Item 2. / The man praises the beauty of the girl and compares her to a flower just opened in Spring. He would be very happy to talk with her but doubts whether a flower so distinguished could ever bend down to talk to someone like him. However he will come every day to visit her. / The girl wonders whether he really means what he says. She is worried that, in spite of everything, he will oneday forsake her. / The singers on this recording are not identified. However, the accompaniment is by the Royal Orchestra of Luang Prabang.
