曲目解説「EXPLANATORY NOTES ON THE 19 SPECIMENS OF TURKISH FOLK TUNES ON TAPE」に「8. This is sung and played by the muhtar (headman) of the Aziziye village of the province of Burdur. The people of the village are of the Sari Kechili tribe (Yellow Goat).」「Avshar beys whose names I like,/You are worthy to be vezirs./Pull your bridle, know your worth./Enemies are watching you.」「Avshars are a branch of the Oghuz people. They have a rich cultural heritage of their own. Here the long-air of the Avshar Beys is followed by an Avshar zeybek dance. The zeybek is a 9 beat syncopating rythm, and the main dance tune of Western Anatolia.」、同資料に小泉教授の手書きによる「民謡」「中央アジア的発声(かん甲く落下節)」が記されている。
