- 曲目解説6ページに「The sixth selection is a song in the rural or country blues tradition. Although the origin of the blues as a musical form is uncertain, some historians have related the blues to the slaves' field holler—-an unaccompanied monody of irregular length and structure; and to the choral work song, which retained the "call-and-response" pattern of some African choral singing. Most country blues tunes are similar in structure, and draw on a fairly common pool of possible melodies. However, many musicians develop their own particular style by altering the melody, meter, or accompaniment pattern.」「John Lee Ziegler is a country blues musician from Kathleen, Georgia, who specializes in the "bottleneck" style of guitar-playing. Bottleneck guitar-playing is achieved by using a metal or glass slide (bottleneck) to fret the strings, thus giving the guitar a more resonant and characteristic sound. Mr. Ziegler is accompanied by his friend, Rufus Jones, on spoons. (In this tune, Rufus Jones uses regular kitchen spoons to provide the rhythmic accompaniment.)」「This performance was recorded at the 1978 Georgia Grassroots Music Festival.」「6)」「GOIN' WHERE THE WATER TASTES LIKE CHERRY WINE[下線付]」「John Lee Ziegler with Rufus Jones」「Instrumentation: guitar (bottleneck) and spoons」「Look here woman, look here woman/ Look here woman, look here woman,/ See what you just done.」「Made me love you, made me love you/ Made me love you, made me love you/ Now your man done gone.」「Got a secret, got a secret/ Got a secret, got a secret/ Keep it to yourself.」「(Continued on Page 7)」、7ページに「(GOIN' WHERE THE WATER...cont'd.)」「Tell me gal, tell me gal/ Tell me gal, tell me gal,/ Tell somebody else.」「(dur. 2:27[下線付])」と記載(「[6)に]赤丸印」の書き込みあり)。
