- 曲目解説に「2.」「"Michael's Day Comes This Year[下線付]"」「This song is spread throughout Sweden. There are even variants of it in the Swedish-speaking parts of Finland. The oldest version we have is from the 1830s or 1840s, but the song must have been known before that. It was printed in cheap editions as early as 1831. These editions are known in Sweden as broadsides.」「Alida Grönlund, who sang this song, was in her seventies when this was recorded. She had a very large repertory of songs which she had learned as a child. Her grandmother taught her most of them, and she sang them in a very rhythmic and archaic way. She learned the more recent songs from her mother, and they were sung with emotion and with the rhythm smoothed over. Alida Grönlund grew up in a small village in northernmost Sweden.」「One of the reasons why these songs have remained alive in certain families and areas is that the songs were often used in working, either as rhythmic aids or to pass away the time during long, monotonous sessions of work, for example, at the spinning wheel.」「"Michael's Day Comes This Year[下線付]"」「When St. Michael's Day comes this year,/ I'm going to move away,/ there's no one to care for me,/ or even shed a tear,」「I have longed for you, my dear,/ as the bird the light of day,/ for every time I see you,/ my heart rejoices.」と記載(「[2に]赤丸印[と]黒丸印」「女ソロ[赤字]」「無伴[赤字]」「♩.♪♩♩[赤字][これの1/2倍の音価で記載]」「[seventiesに]赤色下線」の書き込みあり)。
