- 注記2:曲目解説2枚目に「TRACK 2. CHANT TAKIRI – SNARE[下線付]」「Duration[下線付]: 0'57"」「The legend of how the Maori came to gather fish with a net is contained in this ancient chant still sung today. Fish were an important source of food to the Maori and in their earlier days they did their fishing with hooks and lines. The story goes, that one day a young Chief visiting the seashore saw, as darkness fell, fairies come out on to the beach with a canoe and a mass of ropes. The canoe was paddled out to sea, the ropes dropped overboard, then pulled into shore with a great haul of fish. The Chieftain managed to steal this net and from this model others were produced. / In this chant rhythmical hand and body movements aid the illustration of the story.」と記載(「魚とりの歌」「[Trackに]丸印」「[gather fish with a netに]下線」「[netに]丸印」「[fairies come out on to the beachに]下線」の書き込みあり)。
