- 雑資料「JAPANESE NURSERY & CHILDREN'S SONGS」一頁に「B. SONGS SUNG OF HEAVENLY BODIES AND METEOROLOGICAL PHENOMENA」「2. Yuki-furi no Uta (Snow-Falling Song) 42"」、十六頁に「2. Yuki-furi no Uta (Snow-Falling Song)」「This song is sung in the same spirit of rejoicing over the falling of snow as "Ue Mireba".」「The recording was made by primary school children in Kyoto City; this song is also known by another title, "Yuki ya Kon-kon" (Snow Is Falling Thick and Fast). Situated in the western part of Honshu, Kyoto City was the nation's capital until the Meiji Restoration in 1868,and so abounds in historic shrines and temples. It is also a great kaki (persimmon) producing center.」「The words of the song go something like this:"Snow is falling thick and fast. So is the hail. We hope that they cover the branches of persimmon trees in the temple, for then the trees will bear lots of fruit next year."」「Since the people of Kyoto cherish ancient things and customs, the children there still sing this song today.」と記載。
